The Awards and my Thanks
I know I’ve been slack with this, but as everyone knows they do take up quite a bit of time, so here goes. I have split the acceptance for the awards into the individual ones… mainly for my convenience. You will notice that some people are mentioned more than once. It is entirely up to you if you roll them into one as far as the nominee stage is concerned. I haven’t seen anything which says you cannot nominate someone for one or all awards. My explanation, if I had attended to these as they came in I would have nominated the same people…. Because they are in a large group it looks worse than it is. Each person I have carefully thought about before choosing them. Should they, for whatever reason, decide not to accept the nomination then I ask the following:
- You accept the nomination in the spirit it is intended.lease don’t return it
- If you wish to pass it along to another deserving blogger please do so
- If neither of the above apply, then accept my apologies for not having enough time to read everything on everyone’s blogs regarding whether awards are accepted or not. It is a very difficult task when a flurry of awards arrive.
I found this on another blog and whilst it might be heart warming to amass a huge collection of awards, I am having difficulties, at times, simply getting my blog out. I am attending to my awards already received but then……
I appreciate your thoughts and wishes and ask that you understand the reason I have taken the following decision.
DECISION
The time has come to be upfront and share my honest thoughts to people who I respect and admire. I understand the purpose and honour of many blogger awards; I feel blessed and humbled to have been nominated a few and really I do feel honoured, however,
I do not wish to receive any further awards…
My most grand and heart-warming awards are your Likes and Comments. Any feedback or disagreements only help me learn and grow.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
I will add this to the last award acceptance. Thank You
Now for the Awards.
The Dragon Award

The Dragon’s Loyalty Award
I have been very fortunate- to be nominated for two Dragons Awards by the following lovely people:
Kerry Mitchell http://kerrycmitchell.com and
Donna Parker at http://yadadarcyyada.wordpress.com
They both have the most diverse and amazing blogs, please go visit them, it’s well worth it.
There are rules to the award. They are as follows:
1. Display the award on your site.
2. Link back to the person who gave you the award in your acceptance post;
3. Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and notify them they received the award.
4. List seven interesting things about yourself
Can you hear the wailing now? -“I don’t have 7 interesting things to say about myself…..which of course no-one will believe.
Here I go:
- My non-existent injuries from a car accident 13 years ago have put me in bed much of the time with chronic pain. But don’t worry; it’s all in my head! The dilemma here is the wonderful drugs to alleviate the pain from my non injured back, (yes they’ll prescribe meds for something in my head) make me so dopey (lol) I can’t do very much most days before midday. It really is a nuisance.
- I have more friends on WordPress than in real life. True – get divorced and everyone takes a long hike and never returns…..it must be contagious. So now I feel fairly cut off from outside life.
- I have a PhD in Metaphysics, A Diploma in Counseling, Master in Reiki, Melchizedek and Pellowah healing, am an Angel Intuitive, Level 3 Australian Bush Flower essence practitioner, Psychic, tarot reader, and oodles of other metaphysical goodies…I just love what we “can’t” see or “hear,” or so some say, but Not Me!
- I’m also the Director of a business called Executive Mastermind, under whose umbrella I have Life Change 90 – Ray does all the bloggystuff for that. Director of Executive Financial, and have a Diploma in Financial Planning.
- When I was in school I wanted to be a forensic scientist but the subject wasn’t available in Australia when I came here. Drat!
- I’m caught between two cultures: people in Australia tell me I have a cultured English voice, but my remaining Yorkshire family in England can’t understand a word I say – enough said.
- I never used to drink tea, only coffee, now I drink tea and only an occasional GOOD coffee. I wonder if this is why I’m “sick”? Tis a thought…
The Nominees…….. drum roll please

The Dragon’s Loyalty Award
I am flattered and I thank you very much for nominating me for this lovely award. If I am to get an award, the Dragon’s Loyalty seems to stir the blood for some reason, so I thank you from within. I’ve always read the dragon tales and loved them for some reason. Maybe I was once a dragon rider 🙂

Love and light for thinking of me Susan. Many blessings for you and family for the Christmas period and the love it entails. Namaste

Thank You Mark… Dragons hold a special place for me, the Dragonlance Chronicles cemented them into place. The idea of flying on one… makes the blood swirl in my head and heart. 🙂 The inner child at play.
I hope to ‘see’ you before Christmas, but if not, all the love and peace the season holds, the magic and love and warmth family and loved ones near and far can bring. Everything your heart and soul rejoices in this season.
Blessing and love always,

Thank you so much, Susan. I am honored and humbled by your continued support. I am especially delighted to learn more fascinating facts about fascinating you. What a lot you know about what many believe to be unseen and unheard! I will be responding to the Award’s requirements as soon as possible, but I am afraid it will have to be after the holidays. Here’s wishing you much joy and comfort and inspiration, my faraway friend. xxoo

Susan, thank you so much for the nomination! I apologize that it has taken me this long to respond but I’m truly blessed to be chosen. I’m working on some deadlines right now and can’t seem to get to the requirements. I will try 🙂 Btw, enjoyed reading your “7 Things”. You are a very interesting lady!
